Eco-check 2023

The Eco-Check of the Ministry of Climate Protection BMK was created to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and non-profit organizations from all sectors to implement their climate protection and sustainability measures. In the course of the funding, problem analyses, research, support by third-party providers with innovation expertise, conception and development of suitable solutions, pilot tests as well as tests of new business models, services or products can be funded.

Personnel costs and third-party costs are eligible, with third-party costs limited to a maximum of 40% of total costs. This gives companies and organizations the opportunity to use their internal resources efficiently and bring in necessary expertise from outside to successfully implement their sustainability projects.

The application period of the Eco-Check runs from 03.04.2023 to 15.05.2023. In order to make the most of the funding, it is advisable to familiarize yourself with the requirements and special features of the program now.

Thanks to a funding rate of 80% of project costs, the funding is extremely attractive for many companies. The funding covers projects up to a maximum of €15,000, which allows for a maximum funding amount of €12,000. The funding is a non-repayable grant.
