Zero Emission Mobility – 6th call

6th call for proposals “Zero Emission Mobility”.

Funded topics:

  • Zero Emission Vehicles
  • Zero Emission Infrastructure
  • Integrated systemic solutions for vehicles and infrastructure
  • Accompanying research projects on EBIN and ENIN (Zero
  • Emission Buses and Commercial Vehicles and Infrastructure)
  • R&D service: Feasibility study on the electrification of coaches

Target groups:

  • Research institutions
    Companies
  • Other non-economic institutions
  • Industrial partners (high practical relevance and market transition)
  • Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) or start-ups (Desired).
  • Funding amount:

Depends on type of organization, instrument and research category.
Funding volume: approx. 8 million euros

Mobility 2023: Urban mobility and vehicle technologies

The third call for proposals on the topic of mobility in spring 2023 is dedicated to the two mission fields “Cities” and “Technologies” from the RTI strategy Mobility 2040, promoting climate-neutral mobility in cities and environmentally compatible transport technologies.

Funded topics:

  • Non-exhaust vehicle emissions
  • Electrified urban mobility
  • Charging infrastructure in urban environments
  • System integration and mainstreaming of shared (sub)urban mobility
  • Innovations for climate-friendly urban leisure and tourism mobility
  • Unconventional technological mobility solutions and systems in an urban context
  • Strategies and approaches for rebound management of virtual mobility – leisure mobility and other relevant fields of action
  • Solution approaches for prognostic assessment and prioritization of mobility measures in climate-neutral cities
  • Standardized planning tools and success factors for effective sharing in the mobility sector in Austria

  • Research institutions
  • Other actors contributing to the implementation of the mobility transition.

Funding amount

Around EUR 6.6 million is available for this funding.

Maximum project duration of 36 months
