Tecxport Tailored Innovation

In Austria, there are many companies that specialize in developing products, processes or services designed specifically for the international market. To promote these tailored innovations, the Tailored Innovation program offers support. Participating companies have the opportunity to receive a grant of up to €200,000, equivalent to 60% of project costs, for projects with a maximum duration of 18 months.

The projects submitted will be evaluated on the basis of their innovative content, their level of technical difficulty and their economic viability. In particular, they should include experimental developments for markets outside Europe. This program offers an excellent opportunity for companies wishing to expand their international activities or enter new markets.

All costs that are attributable to the project can be funded. These include, for example, personnel costs, costs for the use of R&D infrastructure, material and equipment costs, travel costs and third-party costs. The costs must have been incurred directly, actually and in addition to the conventional operating expenses during the funding period according to the funding agreement.

Austrian companies based in Austria can apply for the call “Tailored Innovation – 2023”. This call offers support for international exploitation of products, processes and services through knowledge of foreign markets and local actors. Cooperation is possible, but effective collaboration is required.
