AI-Adoption: funding programme for digitisation

AI-Adoption (AI-A) funding is an AWS funding programme. It is aimed at innovative and trustworthy AI projects in Austria. The focus of AI-Adoption is particularly on upcoming AI certifications, AI standards and AI regulations.

This funding is not limited to any sector or company size. However, it is important to note that there are certain basic requirements.

Basic requirements:

• The application for funding must be submitted before the start of the project
• The company’s registered office or place of business must be in Austria
• AI project must be innovative
• Trustworthy AI is a central project content
• Upper limit according to AGVO or de minimus must be observed
• The project focus must match the funding focus as listed above.

Costs that can be funded are all directly project-related and actually incurred costs.

These include:

• Personnel costs
• Material costs
• Third-party costs

The maximum funding amount is 150.000 euros.

The call is open until 31 March 2023, 12:00. The evaluation, in terms of form and content, will be carried out by experts. Projects that have been positively evaluated will present their project to an external jury. The projects are evaluated according to the best-of principle. The announcement of the funding decision is scheduled for 12 June 2023. We will support you in the application process and will be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
